Heyang(Vincent) Jiang (姜赫扬)

I am a second-year PhD student in Computer Science at UCLA, advised by Prof. Baharan Mirzasoleiman. I earned my dual Bachelor's degree in Mathematics and Physics + Software Engineering from Tsinghua University.

During my undergraduate studies, I was fortunate to work under the guidance of Prof. Kurt Keutzer at the University of California, Berkeley; Prof. Hao Su at the University of California, San Diego; Prof. Jie Tang, Prof. Yuxiao Dong, and Prof. Bin Wang at Tsinghua University. I also spent time at AI research labs of Microsoft, Zhipu.

My research currently focuses on efficient machine learning and reinforcement learning. Previously, I worked on diffusion and visual generation.
